This is a true family owned local restaurant that I love to support. This place originated my love for Pho. Mr George works extremely hard and loves to make his customers feel at home. When I come here I love to get the beef skirt bowl of Pho with a plate of fried rice and a 4 piece order of egg roll. There is two sizes to their pho and to be honest the large can feed two. When you're from out of the town expect for this location to not be located in the best of area but I'm from the neighborhood and to be honest this is one of the better pho places I've had in the city.

So I was craving some pho when I was under the weather a couple months ago and found out this place accepted EBT! As a single mom, that was amazing news! So I checked it out! (Drove by many times and never knew!) They are such nice and kind people! The food is awesome! Big portions! So come hungry or split with someone. I always get the combo pho because it has all the meats. Then I added the beef balls today. I need protein since I worked out. Definitely try the spring rolls and egg rolls! Mmmm! So yummy! Kids love it too! My son and his buddy came with me one time and they ate it all! I like ordering a side of onions and drizzling it with sriracha and the hoisin sauce! Like a Vietnamese version of kimchi, I guess! Enjoy! Thank you for being such a great spot and great service always!

I'm a bit under the weather. So I decided to have some Pho. I walked in and didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable. The owner served us and was kind. I'm coming back.

I don't know what it is about hot weather, but I get cravings for pho. I work in the area and decided to check this place out. I wanted to look for a more homely place vs a modern, trendy place. Unsure why, but I think pho is best tasting when served at mom and pop places. I went in during my lunch hour and received my food within 10 minutes. It did not seem busy, but it was also a hot summer day. The broth was flavorful and the meat was tender. What stood out to me was the chili oil they gave as a sample. It made the broth stand out to 100%. I'll be sure to order again during the cold season as well.

This place is a good place for a hearty vietnamese meal! We tried the Shaking Beef and the Combination Pho. The Shaking Beef was so delicious when it came out, I was really surprised. It comes with a broth as well, which was absolutely delicious and rich. However, a few hours later, I was so thirsty, and I suspect that they use MSG to flavor their foods. I have nothing against MSG, but just so you are aware. The Combination Pho was really good as well, and had a good selection of types of meat, which were all tender. Service was fine. The staff weren't good with english, so it took some time ordering and asking questions. I know they try their very best to provide the best service! Ambiance is pretty lowkey and hole-in-the-wall, which is fine!

Located in a small strip mall, it seems to be a small mom and pop shop. Service was fast and we got our food pretty quickly. I have been craving Hainan Chicken for a while. I'm used to it being served with rice cooked in the chicken stock but they offered it with steamed rice or fried rice. The portion was huge! I really liked that it came with a bowl of broth. It was tasty and flavorful though a bit on the salty side however once I put in the veggies, it was better balanced. The fried rice was delicious and paired well with the chicken and the ginger sauce. I also like spicy so the chili oil was a great addition.

As a Vietnamese woman who frequents Westminster, Pho 881 is the real deal! The restaurant is spacious, smelled appropriately beefy, played relaxing Vietnamese music for an authentic ambience. There were plenty people dining solo for lunch. The service is quick and attentive. The menu is straightforward for a pho-centric restaurant. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet size small for $12 and it was definitely more than enough food. The broth was clean, beefy enough and slightly sweet. The noodles were on the softer side and all of the meats were good, especially with a side of hoison sauce and chilli oil. There is a large photo of the different meats on the wall so you can customize your meat selection. I appreciate the generous side of fresh and clean basil, bean sprouts and lime. Looking forward to returning to try the Mi Hoang Thanh and Hainan Chicken Rice!
